Class sizes are kept small for each student to get the most out of classes. We provide all the equipment, ingredients and aprons to wear during class.

​

Our sessions alternate between savoury and sweet recipes and the children also learn about healthy eating, good hygiene and the importance of seasonal and local foods.

 

Each term we dedicate one week's sessions to our designated gift week where the children make a special treat which they are encouraged to share with their families. The children love this opportunity to ​show off their hard work and skills to their loved ones.

The children learn some fantastic new skills, whilst also reinforcing other areas of the curriclum, for example weighing and measuring and telling the time from maths, watching the change in state of our ingredients from science and creativity when we decorate our cookery bags each week.
